From Maishofen to Zell am See and Saalfelden all the way to Maria Alm! A gigantic network of cross-country ski trails, both for classic- as well as skating-style, opens up to all fans of the sport with 155 km.
The wide and flat valley floor is optimally suited for beginners, but also for pros who want to further improve their technique training. For experienced cross-country skiers, the positive effect of this highly efficient muscle- and cardiovascular-training, combined with active enjoyment of nature, is well-known. Local cross-country skiing schools will show you the necessary techniques to get started.
A sports experience of a different kind is gliding along under starry skies across a floodlit trail. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the mountains and make use of the 2.8 km long trail floodlit until 21:30 at the "Schloss Kammer” country inn.
